Homemade hot cocoa mix layered with mini marshmallows in Mason jars. Just add hot milk, stir and top with whipped cream!

Ingredients
  • 3 cups dry milk powder
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1¾ cups cocoa powder
  • 1¾ cups mini semisweet chocolate morsels
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 12 ounce Mason jars


Directions
  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine dry milk powder, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, chocolate morsels and salt. Process the mixture in the food processor until powdery and light.  
  2. Fill half of each Mason jar with hot cocoa mix and the other half with mini marshmallows.
  3. To prepare hot chocolate, place ¼ to ⅓ cup of hot cocoa mix in a mug and stir in 1 cup of boiling milk or water. Top with mini marshmallows or whipped cream.
